After a TV hypnotist pulls him under, traumatized journalist Jason begins experiencing life through the eyes of a 1980s serial killer whose final victim was never identified. Each regression drags Jason deeper into the killer's mind, but when a new victim is murdered Jason realizes the investigation has reawakened someone dangerous, and he must navigate the darkest corners of his subconscious to protect his family and reveal the truth.
