Details

British travel writer Lewis Nunn embarks on an epic 362-mile journey through Scotland's Inner Hebrides aboard the Hebridean Princess, tracing a route rich with Scottish history, wild beauty, and unexpected adventure. His journey carries him from Oban to the Isle of Skye: sampling whiskey at the legendary Oban Distillery, venturing to George Orwell's remote former refuge off Jura, and wandering the ghostly remains of Mull's abandoned 18th-century townships. Along the way, Lewis saddles up on his first-ever horse trek across the pink sands at Gairloch, meets the proprietor of Attadale Estate, and even plunges into the icy waters of the isle of Raasay.
